Terms & Conditions

Please read the Terms and Conditions below, as purchasing a ticket confirms your agreement to abide by them. Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you!

1.  Admission to the Mundy Playing Fields is only permitted at the advertised times and with a valid ticket, paid for in advance or at the gate.

2.  Tickets are non-refundable although you may sell them to a third party if you are no longer able to attend either event.

3.  You are not permitted to bring any of the following onto the Mundy Playing Fields site during either event:

• Alcohol
• Knives or weapons (or any item that could be used as a weapon)
• Barbeques, fires, or tiki torches
• Fireworks, smoke canisters, or flares
• Laser lights/beams (or any similar items)
• Glass containers (including bottles, jars, and drinking glasses)
• Stereos, air horns, or any other unauthorised sound systems
• Bicycles, scooters, or skateboards (unless you are using them on the Krunch skate ramp but you must not ride them on any other part of the site)
• Illegal or non-prescription drugs (over-the-counter medication is permitted)
• Any other item our security staff deems hazardous and/or likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance, or annoyance.

4.  Our licensed bars and/or concessions selling alcohol will only serve alcohol to those aged 18+. If you look less than 25 you may be asked to provide proof of your age.

5.  Photographs may be taken for use on Thornbury Carnival’s website and social media accounts. By attending the event, ticketholders aged 18+ consent to their image, likeness, and voice being included in the official photographic, visual, and audio promotion of the event. If you are attending with a child or young person aged under 18, you automatically give your consent on their behalf.

6.  Attending the event is entirely at the individual’s own risk. Thornbury Carnival CIC will take all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe and secure event but can take no accountability or responsibility for any illness or associated conditions suspected to have been contracted while attending the event.

7.  Attending the event offers permission to Thornbury Carnival CIC to share personal information with the UK Health Security Agency or South Gloucestershire Director of Public Health to ensure effective track and trace in the event of an infectious disease outbreak.

8.  Children attending the event are, at all times, the responsibility of their parent, carer, or guardian. Thornbury CIC will provide a safe environment for ‘lost children’ and will liaise closely with the Police at the earliest opportunity to ensure the safe transfer of care of any identified lost child to an appropriate authority.

9.  Thornbury Carnival CIC takes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to items belonging to ticketholders. Vehicles parked within the accessible parking area or in any of the public car parks in the surrounding area are parked at the owner’s own risk.

10.  Thornbury Carnival CIC reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any ticketholder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance, or annoyance, or for failure to comply with any reasonable request from a representative of the Carnival event management team.

11.  Thornbury Carnival CIC reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, and to vary the advertised programme and timings without being liable to pay any compensation whatsoever.
