Getting Here
How do I access the Mundy Playing Fields for the event?
Ticketholders are only able to access the event on foot via The Close (off the High Street via Star Legal). There is no access via Castle Court Car Park or Kington Lane. Only Blue Badge holders who have reserved an accessible parking space are able to access the event via Kington Lane.
Is there any parking for ticketholders?
Unfortunately, there is no parking available for ticketholders on the Mundy Playing Fields site with the exception of a small number of accessible parking spaces for Blue Badge holders. Thornbury public car parks will be available throughout the event but are likely to be busy, so we strongly advise walking, cycling, or using public transport, if possible.
Which buses can I catch to the event?
Please visit the First Bus website for information on routes and timetables for buses serving Thornbury and the surrounding area.
Is there somewhere I can secure my bicycle?
Ticketholders coming to the event by bike are only able to access the event via The Close (off the High Street via Star Legal). Bikes must not be ridden on site and should be wheeled at all times. Bikes may be locked to the railings that run alongside the car park, but must be secured on the field side of the railings. Bikes are left at the owner’s own risk.
Is there any parking for Blue Badge holders?
There is a limited amount of Blue Badge parking accessible via Kington Lane. Blue Badge parking is available on a first come, first served basis and must be reserved in advance of the event. Blue Badge holders also need to purchase tickets for themselves and any passengers traveling with them. Blue Badge parking can be reserved via our ticketing website.
Can I get early access if I have a medical condition or disability?
Unfortunately, our insurance policy strictly prohibits ticketholder access to the Mundy Playing Fields for any reason prior to the official event start time.
